In this course, we will take a survey of all the major eras in yoga history, helping to understand how this wonderful and vast tradition has led to our current expression of yoga today.
This course will introduce you to Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, a very important text that established the seeds of the yoga practice of mindfulness and self-study more than 1700 years ago.
Building on your understanding of Yoga Sutras I, This course explores the distractions that we encounter on our yoga journey and considers practical tools that we can use to manage them.
We continue to explore the meaning of the sutras and their relevance to our practices and modern lives.
In this course, we will look at three different models of the subtle body that describe its architecture and we will look at Ayurveda, a holistic sister science to yoga that offers another framework for our experience.
This course introduces you to the body's chakra system, a sophisticated network of energy pathways - or nadis - that course through the body.

In 2002, Fiji stumbled into teaching yoga when an instructor was a no-show. That "accident" ignited a passion for teaching and led to becoming the director of development at DoYogaWithMe, a platform with a noble cause: making yoga accessible to everyone. The platform boasts 1,000+ class videos, 300,000+ registered users, and has become a sanctuary for those recovering from eating disorders.
Fiji is also an international retreat leader and a certified Yoga Teacher Trainer, mentored by the indomitable Mary Prefontaine. For Fiji, yoga isn't just a physical practice—it's a "dress rehearsal for life." She's not just teaching yoga; she's teaching people how to be better versions of themselves.
