Course Overview

This course will build on your understanding of Yoga Sutra Part 1. In this course, we will explore the distractions that we encounter on our yoga journey, and look at the practical tools that we can use to manage them. We will unpack an important yoga concept, isvara: a sanskrit term that describes that universal consciousness. We will also look at what Patanjali calls the “kleshas,” or the obstacles, which are the fundamental misperceptions that cloud our understanding of our true nature.

Note for CE Credits: If you are a current teacher taking this course for Yoga Alliance CE credits, you may submit for 2.5 hours of credit in Yoga Humanities.
