    Calm and lovely teaching

I’ve been practising on the mat with Tracey for a long time, I love her presence and style, and now I have discovered that she is equally elegant, calm and a great teacher off the mat. Could listen to her forever. Thanks a lot :-)

Study of Yoga origins, Patanjali, Sutras

Thank you for an amazing course! My goal to take this course was purely to learn how yoga heals my body, The excellence of the education of yoga is exemplary. The course pulls together yoga asanas with the background of understanding the physical body, its mechanics down to the cellular level. I have gained a better appreciation of yoga, The evolution through its rich history, books, texts and readings from Bhagavad Gita to Patajali sutras sheds so much insight and understanding of the body and especially the sole. As a practitioner of Vipassana mediation for a decade and a half, yoga devotion is another path to quiet the fluctuations of consciousness. The bodily benefits are the icing. Thank you for the insight and an excellent teaching job. Namaste

    Another perfect 'intro'

This introduction was exactly that. Yet, it was such a clear and well executed summary that did introduce to very key and important concepts to continue to explore and 'abhyasa'. I sincerely appreciate Tracey's sharing of knowledge and that this was included in this overall bundle. Very grateful to DYWM for offering this as a free continuing educational piece as 'summer school' this year. Love you all!

    So meaningful

I loved this lesson. A yogi once told me about the concept of "monkey mind" - in other words a mind jumping from one place to another. That's me. I'm so grateful to be learning tools to help stay centered and grounded, and less at the mercy of my racing thoughts. The final phrase, "You are enough," is something I tell my staff all the time. It was really nice to hear someone say it to me!

Great way to learn about an ancient relevant text

Like the other two courses I took, this one was broken into manageable chunks with an excellent handout and short quizzes to reinforce learning. I also love the printable certificate at that the end that gave me a sense of completion and accomplishment. I would definitely recommend it.

    Informative, reflective and fun

Knowing about the Sutras, and how they are embedded in the fibre of yoga as it is practiced today deepens my appreciation of yoga. This lesson was very informative, allowed me to reflect on my relationship with the Sutras and it was fun too!

    Videos are way too short

It was really hard to get involved in the material when I had to click to the next video every other minute. Tracy only spoke a few sentences before the video was over and it seemed like a lot of things were repeated rather than built on.
