Course Overview

In this course, you will take the next steps on your sequencing journey. We will look at the components that go into creating a class style, and you will learn how you can use these components to create a hatha or a vinyasa flow style sequence. Learning these tools will empower you to skillfully develop mindful and creative sequences for a whole variety of class intentions.

Note for CE Credits: If you are a current teacher taking this course for Yoga Alliance CE credits, you may submit for 4 hours of credit in Teaching Methodology.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Describe the key differences between the hatha and vinyasa style and demonstrate how the use of transitions impacts class style and intensity.

  • Create an hour long class to the same peak pose in the flow style and in the hatha style.

  • Describe how to sequence and link poses together effectively create a fun and safe class experience.
