    Interesting and difficult

I’m finding this whole course so interesting! But this is the first lesson that I’ve had no experience with, so it took longer and was harder to get my head around. Plus I’m working through an injury and I can’t do all the poses required, so it made it harder and a little overwhelming. I hope I’ll have time to come back and make it up!

    Baby steps appreciated

At the outset, when I looked at the course book, I was intimidated by component parts and sequencing. This course took me longer than the previous ones I think because I was trying to go slowly to absorb the content. My slower pace along with Rachel's carefully guided practice has resulted in a level of confidence that I didn't have going in - intimidation gone!

    Very helpful!

This course offers step by step instructions on how to identify componenents needed to achieve a peak pose and how to insert poses into your sequence that share the same componentes to be sure your students are ready.

Awesome way to break it down, Sequencing is Been my Hardest Road Block/FEAR and its nice to have you actually expressing it on a video:))

I feel so blessed to have found you, I had your books Trying to learn. And then found you online. And just love her kind off Like fun corky personality and just drawn too 😂 Maybe cuz I am Canadian Too!!! I am the same way silly goofy!!! But The way you explain it to makes sense to me the way you break it down, even your like pace when you are explaining it just really helps!!! I am so ADHD so for you to have not just told us all of that in writing so I am grateful. I am excited to move on, I am also in your sequencing Mentorship I gave this a shot combination so far really break it down. Gosh so So Grateful To Continue to Learn!!! Your are AWESOME LOVE IT!!!!

Great foundation for teaching coherent and logical classes

The structure of a yoga class is often felt intuitively by the students. This course gave me insight into how the best yoga classes appear so seamless in bringing me on a journey. I am very excited to build my own classes in the future.

    Sequencing

Rachel is crystal clear in her explanations and logically builds up a precise understanding of peak pose sequencing with great demonstrations (she's still crystal clear when talking upside down in handstand!) The exercises to experience the component parts and reflect on how these can be educated in the body through building on complexity in postures was enlightening and empowering. Brilliant teaching Rachel. Thank-you.

Really enjoyed this module. It got me thinking about the component parts of a pose in a way I haven't done .before. I have to say I was a bit foxed by the hamstring question in the final quiz so I'll have to give those poses and my hamstrings some more thought

    The learning curve

Wow! I have learned so much in each section of our training so far but sequencing was the first section where I REALLY felt the gap between being a student and learning the role of teacher. I took this section much slower because it was tougher in application but the lesson was really thoughtful and thorough gave me so much to work with moving forward in my development.

    Sequencing to Peak Poses

I loved this class from Rachel Scott. I highly recommend it to compliment your yoga practice sessions with your students. I watched every peak pose video she provided which helped me refine my vocabulary when instructing students to start, be in and complete different poses.
