    Cueing is right on cue!

Fiji's step-by-step process made it a delight to progress from my initial awkward stilted language to what could almost be called a flow. I am excited to keep learning and practicing.

    Excellent clarity and encouragement

I have been intimidated by cueing and now feel much more confident about trying and critiquing my efforts.

    Cueing 105

Great course, but would have like to see more cueing examples with poses.

    Course 105

As a retired teacher, this course felt like coming home! I am most comfortable with instructional language, and this course helped me apply those principles to teaching my new subject: yoga! Thanks, Fiji!

Very informative...I will need heaps of practice to perfect this!

This module was an eye opener to how difficult clear and simple cueing is. However, it provided all the tools for a budding student to step forward into the world of cueing

    Experiential learning

I enjoyed this class very much. Although it was embarrassing to listen to own recording, I learned a lot from the experience. I loved that Fiji talked about common cueing pitfalls to look out for.

    Enlightening

I enjoyed this lesson. I ended up spending almost the whole day on it. Making recordings and analyzing the "pitfalls". There is still a long way to go, but I realize that cueing truly makes or breaks the student experience. I love how DYWM breaks it down to position - action - connection and verb + body part + direction, focusing on direct language and working from the foundation. SO important. Thank you!

The title accurately describes the content of the class.

I thought the class was excellent. Fiji communicated clearly in both speech and form. P.S. The content and presentation of all of the classes have been excellent, and I feel I am learning a lot. I'm sorry that there was the big gap in my progress from December to now. I hope to get back on a regular schedule now. I appreciate the opportunity to learn yoga online and thank you all for putting so much work into the classes.

This module really helped me think about cueing but it also has helped me reach inside when practising myself

    Blindsided

While the content was solid to learn, I was blinded by the required content we were asked to cue and record. Given how we are focused on a specific asana each week, I didn't feel I had been given the best expectations on how much I need to figure out on my own. It's a bit awkward to move through a course one asana a week and then lack the foundation to cue so many other poses not yet covered using the correct position and action cues. Also for some poses the asana guide lacked sufficient guidance since we were asked to start from a different pose than where the cuing starts in the guide. It would have been helpful to know how much self study & prep I needed to proactively do outside the weekly material to record properly cued poses
