    Great review

    I’ve had this information before in college, but it’s so interesting to think of it in terms of a yoga practice. I always look for continuing education programs on brain chemistry (I love the psychoneuroimmunologists!) so this class was a treat for me. Thanks David!

    Learning styles

    I noticed this course had substantially less videos and more text. I find the courses that have more video content from the teacher (in addition to the text) are more engaging, and I think the information sticks a little bit easier for me.

    A more nuanced understanding of how yoga and the nervous system are intertwined

    I understood how important yoga is for calming our nervous system, however, this course laid it out so simply and logically that I now have a far more nuanced understanding of how yoga and our nervous systems are intertwined.

    This was a struggle

    I had a really hard time with the lesson. There was so much technical text that I found it hard to follow. Anatomy and the scientific side of the YTT is not something that I have any background in so it's all a new language to me. I feel that if there was more video to accompany the text it would be easier to understand the material. I also find that I am an auditory learner, so all the lessons until this one felt more supportive of that learning style. It would also be helpful if the suggested practices from this lesson were included in our yoga reflection journal (even if they are just listed as extra lessons).

I had a really hard time with the lesson. There was so much technical text that I found it hard to follow. Anatomy and the scientific side of the YTT is not something that I have any background in so it's all a new language to me.
